The Saline Hornets beat the Railsplitters in their SEC Crossover game, 3-0. Lincoln never really threatened in the game. In the fourth inning Javian Davis lead off with a sharp double, but Lincoln couldn't advance him.
Saline scored twice in the bottom of the first on pass balls and a wild pitch. That was all they needed.
Neither team really mounted any offense. Both squads only had 3 hits on the day. Thomas Cornette and Jackson Meyer combined for a very nice pitching performance for Lincoln.
Cornette was the player of the game only giving up 2 hits and striking out 2.
